This week on my Substack journal entry: Some people come into your life at exactly the right moment and quietly change its course. I met Erin Beatty years ago in New York City when we were both first-time moms — a little sleep-deprived, figuring out who we were becoming, and determined to keep creating. From the very beginning, Erin was more than a friend — she became a mentor and one of the most influential people in my design journey. Her brand, , so beautifully reflects who she is — thoughtful, soulful, and endlessly creative. The name means “to mend,” and that really says it all. What she’s built is not just about sustainability, but about transformation — making something entirely new, deeply beautiful, and filled with meaning.
I live in my Rentrayage pieces — they’re effortless and intelligent, the kind of clothes that feel like an extension of who you are. And I’ve loved bringing her home collection into my projects — the throws, the glassware, all the little details that add soul and story to a space. There’s a certain quiet beauty and responsibility in her work that I find so inspiring. Pictured above was our “chill room” for a very special client and the Rentrayage throw pulled it all together.
I’m so excited to share the beautiful world Erin has created with all of you — one built on intention, artistry, and care. It’s a world I’m proud to live with, live in, and draw inspiration from every day. You can read all about it in my latest journal entry in Substack. Link in bio.
