Kicking off your Friday with yet another gorgeous Michelle Mai collab!

This insanely cool ring features an appropriately named “space laser” YAG which Michelle cut into an amazing double rose. It shows both green AND red color tones throughout. I’ve never seen one of these in person before and it is easily one of the coolest gems I’ve had the pleasure of creating a setting for.

Design wise we wanted to honor the classic buttercup style and when I tell you this baby is just amazing in person, you better believe it. The way the stone is just hugged so delicately and almost floating weightlessly in the setting is truly *chefs kiss*

I was beyond happy with how this piece came out (so much so that I kindaaaaa want one for myself!…but let’s be real, what else is new) and am yet again so honored to have been able help bring this space laser to the universe.

A very special pendant in honor of kicking breast cancer’s ass, finished just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness month 💕

This piece was created for an amazing woman who I’ve really connected with on so many levels. Although we’ve never met in person I feel we’ve become fast friends and couldn’t possibly be more thrilled to help her honor this huge moment in her life.

Crafted in 14k yellow gold and set with pink tourmalines, this tiny pendant represents an absolute ocean of triumph.

It is with more delight than I can bear to finally share another incredible collab with Michelle Mai and my amazing client.

When Sam reached out she had an incredible idea to essentially build a Gothic tower (in a very tiny ring size scale) with this amazing lab alexandrite as the feature center stone. We went through a few iterations of the design, and really honed in on the details and layers. I created the under basket to match the facet pattern Michelle cut into the gem, the ring has 4 epaulette flowers which each represent a member of her family. I think my favorite detail is the sweeping curtain-like structure on the front.

This ring was a challenge CAD wise! I’ve never built something quite like this structurally and to say I am obsessed with the result would be a severe understatement. (Like really I think about this ring almost all the time!) I could not possibly be more proud of this amazing ring we created together and once again I am humbled to be fortunate enough to work on such special and incredible heirloom pieces.

📸 Side note, this post features a mix of my client’s photos (including the feature!) and my own, she managed to capture the face pattern and color on that alexandrite perfectly and I can’t stop looking at her pictures! I’ve also added in some of the CAD images and waxes just for funsies.

Another one for the books ya’ll, my heart is filled with love and gratitude 💕

So excited to share yet another bombshell Michelle Mai collab, finished just in time for a mountain top proposal!

I only WISH my camera could truly capture the colors in this sapphire center, this is one of the most dynamic and gorgeous sapphires I’ve seen and it ranged everywhere from soft pastel blue to bright vibrant violet. My wonderful client and I worked together to create this stunning yellow gold setting with a customized engraving on the shank and an incredibly flowy basket for the center stone. Accented with lab diamonds and finished off with hand milgraining, this ring was utterly STUNNING from every single angle ya’ll!
