Our Story
No Sweat Apparel ('No Sweat), the 1st sweatshop free, union made, fair trade clothing line is back with the best priced union made wholesale apparel in the world.
No Sweat is an American company founded in July of 2000 with the ambitious goal of establishing union-made clothing as the gold standard for sweat-shop free apparel. The company experienced meteoric growth from 2004 to 2005 following the launch of their No Sweat sneaker, a Converse look alike, shortly after Nike bought the iconic Chuck Taylor all-star. No Sweat put a spec sheet in the shoe box that detailed the wages and benefits received by their workers and challenged Nike to do the same. No Sweat's challenge to Nike was covered by AP, NPR, Boston Globe and many other media outlets around the world.
After rapid expansion to over 200 fair trade stores around the world in 2005, No Sweat lost the union sneaker factory in 2006. Unwilling to switch to a non-union vendor, the company was never able to replace it's hot product. No Sweat finally had to close it's retail divisions and reorganized the business in 2011.
Today we are focused exclusively on wholesale, blank or union printed, providing the best priced and largest selection of US union made T-shirts, sweats & hoodies in the US. Our catalogue can be found at http://www.nosweatapparel.com/
