Spoon finishing:
Card scrapping removes all the rough bits once the spoon is dried. This is a bit of Mulberry and you can see where the scrapper has been as the golden color comes back.

Spent the day gathering, processing, and making things from new wood. Also finished these items from the drying frail!

With the recent storms a lot of places had a lot to clean up and our friends at North Country Landscaping helped us out!

Many of you have seen Jays new tool in camp- a wonderfully made stock knife from P.C. Janusz Historical Black Smith and Historic Stone Works

Last week before the event he made a workbench to hold the stock knife and it worked beautifully at Old Fort Niagara. Here is a short clip of removing some of the wood to inset the stock knife.
