I’ve noticed something.

Most of the limits I’ve had in my life weren’t actually mine.

They were inherited.

Someone else’s fear.

Someone else’s opinion.

Someone else’s idea of what was realistic.

And without realizing it, I started treating their ceiling like it was my own.

Taking my life back—and now, becoming who I’m meant to be—has meant asking a simple question every day:

“Is this belief actually mine?”

Because if it isn’t, I don’t have to keep carrying it.

The people around you can only speak from the life they’ve experienced.

That doesn’t make them wrong.

But it also doesn’t make them right for your life.

I’ve stopped asking people for permission to believe in what’s possible for me.

I’m learning to let my actions answer the question instead.

The life I’m building won’t be limited by someone else’s imagination.

It will be built by my own.

Every day I choose my own beliefs, I reclaim another piece of myself.

Becoming

Somewhere along the way, we decided there comes an age where we’re supposed to stop making mistakes.

As kids, we call it learning.

As adults, we call it failure.

So we stop trying.

Not because we don’t have dreams.

Because we don’t want to look inexperienced.

We don’t want people to see us get it wrong.

But every skill I’ve ever wanted has required me to be a beginner first.

To look awkward.

To ask questions.

To fail publicly.

To try again.

Maybe the real sign of maturity isn’t pretending you know everything.

Maybe it’s having the confidence to be seen learning.

I’ve stopped trying to protect the image of looking like I have it all figured out.

I’d rather protect my curiosity.

Because every mistake teaches me something my comfort never could.

I’m no longer too grown to fail.

I’m too committed to becoming the person I know I’m capable of being.

Today, I chose growth over looking good.

AIR Waves was born from one question...

What if my music could help someone else's business grow?

As an artist, I love creating music. But I wanted to create something bigger than songs people stream once and forget.

I wanted my creativity to become a tool that helps small businesses get attention, tell their story, and make more sales.

That's why I started AIR Waves.

Now I create custom rap promotions over popular beats that businesses choose, turning marketing into content people actually want to watch.

If you're ready to promote your brand in a way people won't scroll past...

Comment "COLLAB" and I'll send you my portfolio. 🎤🚀

What life looks like now...

A year ago, I would've thought this looked too simple.

No big announcement.

No perfect plan.

No proof that I've "made it."

Just me.
The beach.
Movement.
Fresh air.
A quiet mind.

I've realized that taking my life back wasn't about making my life louder.

It was about making it more honest.

These days, I spend more time listening than reacting.

More time creating than comparing.

More time building than explaining.

More time outside than inside my own head.

The life I'm creating doesn't always look exciting from the outside.

But on the inside...

I've never felt more free.

I'm no longer chasing a life that impresses people.

I'm building one that feels like home.

This is what life looks like now.

And for the first time in a long time...

It feels like mine.

There's a poem called "Footprints in the Sand."

It's about looking back over your life, noticing that during your hardest seasons there was only one set of footprints, and wondering why.
Lately, I've been asking myself a different question.
What was carrying me through those seasons?
I don't think it was willpower.
Because there were days I didn't have any.
I think there was a deeper part of me that never stopped moving me forward, even when my conscious mind was filled with fear, shame, doubt, and old beliefs.
Now, I'm choosing to work with that deeper part of myself instead of against it.
Every morning I journal.
Every morning I move my body.
Every morning I breathe.
Every morning I remind myself who I'm becoming.
Not because one workout changes my life...
But because every repetition teaches my subconscious mind a new identity.
My song Morning was born from that realization.
Sometimes awakening doesn't feel exciting.
Sometimes it feels like grief.
Because when you realize you've been living according to beliefs that were never yours, you have to mourn the life you would've lived if you'd known the truth sooner.
But mourning isn't failure.
It's the beginning of remembering.
And every morning, I'm taking another step toward the woman I know I've always been.

One of the things I’m taking my life back from is the fear of being fully expressed.

Not just dancing.

Singing.

Laughing.

Talking to myself.

Being completely present without wondering who’s watching.

It’s interesting how many of us lower our voices, shrink our personalities, or hide our joy because someone might judge us.

But why?

Why should self-expression only happen behind closed doors?

I’ve been practicing giving myself permission to sing out loud.

To dance when I feel like dancing.

To let people witness me in my element instead of waiting until I think I’ve perfected it.

Yes, it’s vulnerable.

Because the moment you express yourself honestly, you give people the opportunity to misunderstand you.

But you also give yourself the opportunity to be free.

I’d rather be fully seen than perfectly hidden.

Today, I reclaimed my voice.
