My running career has always been under construction- a lot like 23rd street. Running with the OKRunner Run the Alley group makes me feel like I am getting closer to the end of construction.

This week’s social run will take place, as always, from the OKC store on Thursday at 6 PM. We’re excited to offer a free entry to the Joltin' Joe 5K race on November 8th, starting at 2 PM. For those who may not know, Joe Warfield was a beloved figure in our running community who tragically lost his life to a distracted driver while running at Lake Overholser in 2019.

Let’s come together to raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving, which affects all of us who use the roads.

It looks like the weather will continue to cooperate, and it seems we have put the social run cancellations behind us (knock on wood). As usual, we will host our weekly social run from OK Runner-OKC this Thursday at 6 PM.

Unfortunately, at present time, we will not have any race entries to give away this week. However, don't let that stop you from joining us for some easy miles and camaraderie - often referred to here as "calm robbery." Come by to reconnect with old friends or meet some new ones!
