( SOLD ) Rare Vintage Hattie Carnegie c 1950’s Gazelle Head Brooch ( Book Piece ) This sought-after mid-century costume jewelry piece is part of Hattie Carnegie’s celebrated animal-themed figural designs, occasionally referenced alongside her famous “Primitives on Parade” collection. Design: Features a stylized, long-nosed gazelle / Antelope crafted with vibrant orange/coral colored thermoset resin lucite.

Construction: The striking turquoise-blue horns are famously attached via an internal wire mechanism. This deliberate design detail allows the horns to move and wiggle slightly when worn.
Embellishments: Accented with rhinestones around the eyes and brow, bordered by textured gold-tone metal work.
