Have you tried our Heavenly Hydration Mist? The essential oils listed here are key ingredients in this “Oh. My. God!” good mix.

Do you notice a theme? Each of these essential oils are known to promote rest & relaxation. In a world where we’re rewarded for go, go, going at all times, it can be hard to think of rest as valuable, but it is. If we don’t slow down and allow our bodies and minds to rest once in a while, we’re bound to crash.

Although it feels like rest may backfire on us at times, it’s important to allow ourselves time and space to recuperate so we can come back to the “grind” feeling rejuvenated.

Rose quartz: the first crystal featured in our new series, Crystals 101. We’ll be sharing facts & lore about different crystals that we’ve incorporated in our available pieces and/or crystals we’ve worked with in the past.

What’s so special about rose quartz? EVERYTHING! Rose quartz is a pink variety of the quartz crystal and it is said to bring luck in all areas of love—that includes self-love, platonic love, love for friends & family, and yes, romantic love. Since it’s the stone of love, rose quartz is associated with the heart chakra. Rose quartz is also said to be a calming stone, and can enhance the energies of any stone you choose to pair it with. Carrying a rose quartz in your pocket or wearing it in jewelry is believed to attract & project peaceful, loving energy throughout your day.

To cleanse or charge your rose quartz crystals or jewelry, place them on your windowsill on the night of and the nights leading up to the full moon. You can also run rose quartz under cool water and visualize any stagnant or harmful energy leaving the stone while intending that all beneficial properties being enhanced. Sunlight can also be used to cleanse and charge crystals, but rose quartz can fade in the sun, so we recommend using this method sparingly.
