🚗✨ Ready for a booster? Maybe… but don’t rush it!

The right time to move from a harnessed car seat to a booster isn’t just about age or height. Your child should meet the seat’s requirements AND be mature enough to sit correctly for the entire ride—with the seat belt properly positioned across their body.

When in doubt, keep the harness a little longer! 🙌

And here at Galt Baby, every car seat purchased with us includes an installation by a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) to help make sure your little one is riding safely. 🤍

That removable fabric on your car seat isn’t always as simple as it looks.

Before taking your car seat cover off for a deep clean (because, let’s be honest, snacks, spills, blowouts, potty accidents, and mystery crumbs happen 😅), take a few minutes to check your car seat’s instruction manual.

Many car seats have specific steps for removing and reinstalling the fabric. Pulling too hard or removing pieces incorrectly can damage the energy-absorbing foam underneath. That foam plays an important role in helping protect your child in a crash, and if it becomes cracked, broken, or altered, it can compromise the car seat’s performance.

A quick read through the manual can save a lot of frustration—and help ensure your seat stays as safe as it was designed to be. ❤️
