📖 Do you actually believe the Bible is a true story 📖

Do you believe the Bible is true—all of it? Or do you pick and choose the parts you like?

I believe that God’s Word is true from beginning to end. And that includes the promises that reveal His goodness, His provision, and His desire for us to live abundantly.

Jesus said:

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” — John 10:10

The Bible also tells us:

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” — 3 John 1:2

Now, does that mean we will never experience sickness, hardship, loss, or difficult seasons? No. Jesus Himself told us, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33

But I don't believe God created us to live our entire lives trapped in fear, defeat, hopelessness, and limitation.

God gave us free will. Scripture says:

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21

What are you continually speaking over your own life?

“I'll never get ahead.”
“I'll always be broke.”
“I'll never be healthy.”
“Nothing good ever happens to me.”
“My life will always be this way.”

Be careful with the words you repeatedly agree with.

That doesn't mean we can magically speak anything into existence or that every hardship is our fault. But our words reveal what we believe, and what we believe affects how we live.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” — Proverbs 23:7

Look at the beginning.

God created the Garden of Eden—a place of beauty, abundance, provision, and perfection—and He placed humanity in it.

“And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden... and there he put the man whom he had formed.” — Genesis 2:8

God didn't create humanity and say, “I want you to live small, afraid, and defeated.”

He blessed them and gave them dominion:

“Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion...” — Genesis 1:28

So why would we automatically assume that God wants nothing good for our lives?

He loves you.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son...” — John 3:16

And Scripture tells us that God is able to do “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.” — Ephesians 3:20

Maybe the problem isn't that God is too small.

Maybe we've made our vision of what is possible too small.

Stop putting God inside the box you've built around your own life.

God is bigger than your circumstances. Bigger than your past. Bigger than your failures. Bigger than your fears.

Think bigger. Believe bigger. Pray bigger. Walk in obedience. Renew your mind.

“Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2

And don't take my word for it.

Take it from the Man upstairs.

Take it from His Word. Maybe even read it some time.

Update on The Leviathan 🐊🎨

The Leviathan: Often described in biblical texts as a terrifying sea monster or large crocodilian, the Leviathan symbolizes forces entirely beyond human control. In the Book of Job (Job 41)God uses the Leviathan to remind humanity of His ultimate supremacy, illustrating that only the Creator can tame or defeat such an invincible beast.

📸 Self worth 📸

Where Are You Getting Your Worth From?

Do you ever feel like your worth is tethered to another person’s praise, attention, or acceptance of you?

Do you ever get rejected by someone you love and suddenly find yourself regressing back to that little child inside you—the one who remembers what it felt like to be hurt, rejected, or not feel good enough?

Do you wake up in the morning and immediately reach for your phone, checking social media to see how many people liked your post or picture?

What if, instead, we started our mornings with God?

Try it with me for one week. Before you reach for your phone, reach for Him. Before you look for validation from people, ask God to remind you who you are in Him. Let's see what happens to our hearts when we begin our days rooted in His love instead of other people's opinions.

People will disappoint us. Even the people we love most will sometimes reject us, misunderstand us, criticize us, or fail to give us the love and affirmation we're looking for.

But God never will.

Psalm 139:14 says:

«“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”»

You were not an accident. God intentionally created you.

Ephesians 2:10 tells us:

«“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”»

Think about that for a moment.

You are God's workmanship.

Maybe part of healing is learning to see yourself the way God sees you—not through the eyes of the person who rejected you, not through the eyes of someone who criticized you, and not through the number of likes or comments you receive.

God's opinion of you doesn't change with the opinions of other people.

When someone praises you, your worth doesn't increase.

When someone rejects you, your worth doesn't decrease.

When someone criticizes you, you can prayerfully consider whether there is truth in their words without allowing their words to define who you are.

Romans 12:2 reminds us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Sometimes we have to unlearn the voices that taught us we weren't enough and replace them with the truth of God's Word.

And this isn't about becoming self-obsessed or thinking we're perfect.

It's about recognizing that if God intentionally created you and calls you His workmanship, you don't have permission to constantly despise what He made.

You can acknowledge your flaws without hating yourself.

You can grow without believing you're worthless.

You can receive correction without allowing shame to become your identity.

And you can love yourself—not because you believe you're perfect, but because you are learning to love what God created and what He is still transforming.

So this week, let's try something different.

Before social media, God.

Before seeking validation, prayer.

Before asking other people, “Do you love me? Am I enough? Do I matter?”

Ask God.

“Father, teach me to see myself through Your eyes.”

A Simple Prayer for Every Morning

“God, teach me to stop looking to people to tell me who I am. When someone rejects me, remind me that I am still Yours. When someone praises me, remind me that my worth does not increase. When someone criticizes me, give me wisdom to receive what is true without allowing their words to define me.

Help me stop chasing validation and start resting in Your love. Renew my mind and heal the places in me that still believe I have to earn love or prove my worth.

Teach me to see myself the way You see me. Help me remember that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, created intentionally by You and called Your workmanship.

Let my identity be rooted in You—not in people's approval, attention, praise, or rejection.

Amen.”

😔 I'm not good enough 😔

Do you ever get down on yourself when you make a mistake?

I know I do this more often than I'd like to admit.

That internal voice saying, “I’m not good enough,” can get so loud that it’s almost deafening. It becomes hard to hear God when all you can hear is a voice screaming, “You missed the mark again.”

A voice saying, “What’s the point of trying? Have you really been hearing the voice of God, or was it just you? Have you ever gotten anything right?”

Why do we hold ourselves to such a high standard of perfection when we were never capable of achieving it in the first place?

Only Jesus could do that.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23

God doesn't expect us to be perfect. He already knows we're not. And isn't that the point of grace?

Grace teaches us to run toward God when we miss the mark, not away from Him.

Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

He wants us to rely on Him.

So if you feel like God told you something and it doesn't happen the way you thought it would, that doesn't mean you're a screw-up. It doesn't automatically mean you weren't hearing Him. Maybe there's simply a lesson to be learned along the way.

Maybe the lesson is learning to love yourself and show yourself the same grace God has already shown you.

“His mercies are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:23

I was very down on myself last night, thinking that I had missed what God was telling me. And that thought quickly led me to wonder if I had ever heard Him at all.

But in that moment, I could hear God saying:

“Come here, child. Talk to Me.”

I could see an image of myself getting into His lap the way a child does with their parent.

And I felt Him say:

“Why do you doubt, child? Am I not the Way Maker? Did I not part the sea for My children?

Just because you can't see a way doesn't mean one isn't being made.

I am working.

Have faith that I will take care of you, and a way will be made. I am preparing your heart.

I love you, child, and I will not abandon you in the wilderness.

Just because you are not doing anything to get there doesn't mean I am not working.

I am moving mountains for you, beloved. Do not be dismayed.

Rejoice in the Lord, for I love you more than the sparrows who want for nothing.

Look at the birds of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” — Matthew 6:26

Worship and rejoice in Me, and I will prepare for you a clear path to follow.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

You are doing well, My child. I am proud of you.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” — Galatians 6:9

Lift up others when you are feeling down, and the enemy will stop attacking your joy, beloved.

This is your formula for success.

The joy of the Lord will be yours.

“The joy of the LORD is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10

I am working full time, even as you rest."

And maybe that's the part we forget.

We think that if we're not actively doing something, nothing is happening.

We think we have to figure everything out. We have to make the right decision. We have to say the right thing. We have to make the right move at exactly the right time.

But God isn't asking us to carry the entire weight of our future.

He is asking us to trust Him.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Sometimes faith looks like moving forward.

Sometimes faith looks like waiting.

And sometimes faith looks like getting into your Father's lap, admitting that you don't understand what He's doing, and simply trusting that He does.

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please.” — Isaiah 55:11

So the next time you're beating yourself up, feeling like you're losing faith, or feeling like you've missed the mark, run to God.

Don't let condemnation convince you to hide from the very One who wants you to come closer.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1

Our heavenly Father is teaching us lessons as He clears the path for our hopes and dreams.

You are loved before you have everything figured out.

You are entering a season of learning.

When you're frustrated, choose meekness.

When you're behind, choose humility.

When you're struggling, receive kindness.

When you make mistakes, don't condemn yourself.

Keep trying.

Keep seeking.

Keep listening.

Keep trusting.

Put on the character of Christ as you navigate the unfamiliar places.

“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering.” — Colossians 3:12

You don't have to be perfect to be loved by God.

You don't have to understand everything to trust Him.

You don't have to see the entire path to know that He can make one.

And you don't have to beat yourself up every time you get something wrong.

Sometimes missing the mark isn't the end of the story.

Sometimes it's where God teaches you how to depend on Him more deeply.

So give yourself some grace today.

You are still learning.

You are still growing.

And God is still working—even when you can't see it.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

⌚ Ditch the 9-5 ⌚

What if the thing keeping you stuck isn’t a lack of purpose—but a lack of faith?

Do you ever wonder why your job feels so heavy? Why the rat race slowly seems to suck the life out of you, even after you finally get the job you thought would fix everything?

The money is just right. The bills are paid. On paper, everything looks good… but something is still missing.

God gave each of us gifts, talents, and desires for a reason. Scripture says:

«“As each of you has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” — 1 Peter 4:10»

Have you ever thought, “Man, if money wasn’t a factor, I would do this full time because I enjoy it so much”?

Maybe that desire is worth paying attention to.

We weren’t created simply to spend our entire lives chasing money, possessions, status, and someone else’s definition of success. Jesus tells us:

«“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33»

God should be our first priority—not our paycheck, our career, our business, or our own earthly kingdom.

That doesn’t mean you should quit your job tomorrow and blindly chase a dream. Sometimes faith looks like taking a step at a time. Maybe you keep your job while slowly building the business, ministry, craft, or calling God has placed on your heart. Work hard. Be wise. Be patient. But let God lead the direction.

Build something for His glory, not just your own.

«“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” — Colossians 3:23»

And remember: your gifts aren't yours by accident.

«“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” — Romans 12:6»

What if that thing you love doing could become a way to serve God and bless other people?

What if God could take something that seems small right now and multiply it?

If He can raise the dead, heal the sick, make the blind see, and create something out of nothing, why wouldn't you trust Him with your future?

Jesus said:

«“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” — Matthew 6:26»

God doesn't want you living in fear that there won't be enough. He wants you to trust Him.

But here's the important part: seek Him first.

Don't chase the blessing and forget the Blesser.

Don't build your own kingdom and ask God to bless it afterward.

Invite Him into the process from the beginning.

Pray about your decisions. Spend time in His Word. Learn to recognize His voice. Ask Him where your gifts can be used. And be willing to move when He tells you to move.

«“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6»

There will always be competition for your attention. Fear. Doubt. Comparison. Distraction. The endless scrolling. The voices telling you that you're not capable, you're too late, or you'll never make it.

Turn the noise down.

Make room for God.

«“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10»

You don't have to stay stagnant. You don't have to spend your entire life doing something that leaves you feeling empty simply because you're afraid to step into something new.

Maybe you've been feeling that nudge to create something. Start something. Build something. Use a gift you've been sitting on.

Maybe it's time to take a step of faith.

Not because you know exactly how everything will work out—but because you know the One who does.

«“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3»

Set your moral compass toward God and see where He takes you.

Pursue purpose over possessions.
Pursue obedience over approval.
Pursue God's kingdom over your own.

We're all given a limited amount of time here. So what are you waiting for?

Seek first the Kingdom. Use what God gave you. Trust Him with the outcome.

Maybe this isn't the end of your story.

Maybe this is your sign to take the next step. 🙏🔥
