My contest submission for and for the PrimalGard art contest. A variant on existing artwork. The original lore of the character is that they are a Jungle Guardian that can make your opponent play a card that you select. I ran with the idea of a "hypnotist psychic" and built off that. The original had a swirling eye, but I wanted to convey something a bit more supernatural, and remembered the eye effect used in that terrible mummy movie with Tom Cruise. The original also had some light armor, but with this character being based on a Tarsier Lemur, I chose something a bit more covering and flowy. I actually took heavy inspo from Piccolo from DBZ. Some lore: "Supplies from unknown worlds appear in limited quantities. We fight for the strength that they could bring, now look into my eyes...". ๐๐๐
