Year 12ā¦
Iāve been counting my blessings this month and why you ask?⦠well itās because Iāve been celebrating my recovery and healing anniversary.
As most of you know, i was really sick at a point in my life and during the time of my dads passing. I wonāt go into too much detail but to sum it upā¦I was in an induced coma caused by an unknown in-viral encephalitis and 10 other unknown illnesses that my Internal Medicine Doctor couldnāt identify. My life was on the line but by a miracle, my doctor gave me a wild tick antibiotic that leveled out all my vitalsā¦crazy ācuz I live in the city and Iām not a camper. But I made it through the night after they pulled away my life support.
Thinking back maybe it was Covid? But through the madness, I came to and here I am, breathing, healthier, and living. I will also say, I heard every prayer while in my sleep and the abundance of love was definitely pouring in.
So thank you my dearest friends and family for the support.
The month of February has always been a time of reflection for me. A time that I felt defeated, broken, and lost. But TODAY, I feel confident, content, beautiful, and absolutely blessed.
This year my word is Courage.
My dear friendsā¦I Encourage you to pursue all the good things life has to offer. If you make Mistakes, thatās ok too, have the courage to own your actions, ask for forgiveness or forgive those who have done wrong.
Life is too short for ignorance but you do have a lifetime to fulfill your dreams whether it be for yourself or for the ones you love. Have the courage to pursue it!
Celebrate the little wins, count your blessings, and enjoy every moment. Hereās to many more years of good health and a good life.
Xoxo!
