Kyangara Creations Weaving my birthplace and my sewing skills together to create quality handmade purses I was born and raised in the Congo. I have been sewing since I was 7.

I haven't lived there for many years, but a piece of me still feels connected. I started out making simple clothing. As the years went by I made clothes for my children and myself. Recently I made purses for my daughters for Christmas with some fabric I had from Africa. One of them loved it so much she asked for another one. She picked a cross body bag and another African Fabric, it turned out rea

lly well! When she showed it to her friends, they said I should be selling them, so that's how I got here. I am able to purchase fabric from Congo now, many of my products are made from waxed cotton purchased from there.
