So I saw another post the other day about issues with batteries exploding inside of a chest pack causing loose rounds to fire.

This is not brand specific and it is a potential real problem with the batteries that thermal and night vision optics use.

Never carry batteries unprotected in your pocket, pack or vehicle or your home.

Contact with other batteries or metal can cause fire, explosion and damage

Most batteries sold now include at least a plastic case, I highly recommend using some sort of appropriate container to store loose batteries when not in use.

This is not a dig on any certain brand, just passing along information on something that’s easy to overlook
