But vintage items bring delightful stories and mem
ories to a space. No assembly instructions with vintage items. Just the opportunity to continue the story of these pieces within your own space. Cheryl has dedicated her life to advocating for senior and special needs animals and addressing the global homeless pet crisis. Cheryl implements Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) promotional effort programs in local communities in Mahaska County in her home state of Iowa, in the United States, and where she spent over a decade abroad in Spain. Her (501(c)(3) organization covers the overall costs of her TNR programs, which includes but is not limited to, spaying/neutering homeless cat populations in both areas, socializing, nursing, and making kittens found in local communities adoptable, and covering costs of fostering stray cats and dogs. Cheryl also operates a senior and special needs animal hospice for over 3 decades in her own home. In 2024, Cheryl spayed and neutered 211 cats in Mahaska County alone. Cheryl firmly believes that the animal welfare of our community is not solely an animal issue. Rather, it is first and foremost, a human issue. Proceeds from her vintage store go towards funding her (501(c)(3), Rescue Me International Animal Foundation.
