I wish I could have gotten a photo of the entire quilt 😣 but let me describe. A collection of different navy, red & light blue fabrics to make this "plus" quilt and to complete the modern look of this quilt, I added horizontal striped binding. Since it was Christmas, I quilted a meandering star motif. For some reason, I see it as a Texas quilt 😊

It's been awhile since last post. The holidays have been super busy but I've accomplished completing a few quilts for Christmas, plus other little projects. Here's a quilt I had started on a decade ago! I love how it turned out and how "springy" it looks 🌷💕

This quilt top was a really fun one to quilt! Making it super soft made with all flannel. I love the jewel color tones. I used a variegated tans & browns thread to blend with all the colors. This quilt will for sure be cuddly 😌

I was gifted a treasure load of vintage fabrics and patterns so I decided to make a sweet little baby quilt to give to my baby niece who lives in KC. I think the mittens on the quilt is quite fitting for the winter months to come. First time for me to do some couching for the mitten strings 🙌🏻

Ms. Pat does it again with her fabulous fabric choices! This is what she calls her "Picnic" quilt. Pieced, cut and sewn on the diagonal then a quilted leaf and flower design to complete!👏🏻 Home Town by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet.

I was very intimidated to quilt this wool quilt. Allison had put so much time and work into hand sewing all the appliqué pieces, I was afraid I was going to screw it up! But alas, I conquered my fear and I had a bunch of fun quilting it. I incorporated some of the appliqué pieces into the background, which I hope once it's hung in Allison's home, her friends can look for those quilted items.

I didn't get the chance to take many pictures of this quilt made out of men's dress shirts bc of time restraints but I think the quilting on it turned out pretty good. It's always a challenge for me to quilt on dress shirts because of the stretch in the fabrics used, especially the borders 😩 heavily starching helped a lot in this case.
