For a long time I have taken to learning about different types and methods of being able to express myself through crafting. Crochet and sewing were picked up early in life while later on I had garnered skill in beading and wire working. Just over 2 years ago I had picked up weaving chainmaille as the next hobby to enjoy and had found instead something that brought out a greater passion to create
than I had previously felt. Chainmaille is created by weaving individual rings into a chain or a sheet. There are many different weaves to choose from and always a way to make it all the more special. Rings and wire use in chainmaille come in a great choice of metals such as aluminum and titanium as well as gold and silver. Some of these metals can even go through a process called anodizing (chemical or heat treating) to provide an array of colors. Aluminum is one such metal and has a very consistent color after being anodized; niobium is not consistent in color but when paired right becomes a beautiful quality. Through the encouragement of family, friends, and my very supportive husband I bring to you my store.
