Hi! With so many new faces around here lately, it felt like the right time for a proper introduction. I’m Alison, the founder of European Frump. What started as a love for beautifully worn, well traveled things turned into a 5,000 sq ft showroom in Ventura filled with vintage furniture, pottery, architectural salvage, and one of a kind treasures.
We source from all over. The best spots stay our little secret, but our finds come from the Deep South and Texas, up through the Midwest in Ohio and Kentucky, out to the Pacific Northwest in Oregon, down through Northern California, and everywhere in between. We travel the country hunting for pieces with soul, and every single one has a story before it ever reaches our doors. Getting to share them with all of you is genuinely my favorite part of this whole thing.
These behind the scenes moments are from a photoshoot we just wrapped with the incredibly talented Public 311 Design, a mother-daughter photography duo who understood the vision from the very first frame. Over the coming days and weeks we’ll be sharing their beautiful work from around the showroom, and I could not be more grateful for the way they captured this space. Get ready, it’s stunning!!
