SHAMELESS: Elon Musk has dumped more than $276 MILLION into the midterms since July, making the world's first trillionaire the biggest known donor in this entire election.
And he's not giving the money to Democrats.
Last May, he said he'd cut back on political spending. "I think I've done enough," he said. Apparently, the richest man on Earth was just taking a breather.
$158 million went to the Senate Leadership Fund, the main Republican Senate super PAC, one of the largest political donations in American history. $76 million to his own America PAC, which is out knocking on doors again like it did in 2024. Another $10 million to a PAC backing Ken Paxton in Texas.
Why the sudden panic? Republicans are heading into the midterms with bad headwinds, and Democrats' chances of taking back the House and Senate keep improving.
So Billionaire Elon is writing checks to rescue them.
No Democratic billionaire is spending anywhere near this much.
And just last week, Trump handed him the National Medal of Science. Nice timing.
