October Lane

My "real job" is a homeschooling mom of two kids. I thought about becoming a writer once, but my heart is with my kids. I love it! In 2011, I was inspired by my newborn daughter to learn to crochet things for her. I taught my left-handed self to crochet by watching YouTube videos. Once I got it down, there was no stopping me. I can now whip up a project in no time, and my daughter adores everything I make her. I have a hard time getting her to wear anything other than my crochet pieces. In the hooking department, I have an itch to try to crochet almost anything. I am always open to new requests and custom items. I love to crochet baby items and donate preemie hats to the local NICU in my spare time. While busy crocheting you can find me watching T.V. series on Netflix or listening to Pandora while the kids read quietly on the living room floor. Some of my other hobbies that I don't do often are sewing, photography, knitting, and drawing. My shop was created to help me fund my crochet addiction. My goal is to improve your days by creating enjoyable and stylish crochet pieces all while keeping you warm during the winter.
