I don’t know who needs to hear this today. But it’s okay. It’s okay to be sad, mad, angry, disappointed, excited, scared, tired, anxious, worrisome, elated, bored, overwhelmed, etc. etc. etc. This is such a strange time for us all. I’ve felt all of these emotions recently and it’s okay...it won’t be forever. 💕

It’s hard being a small business owner during a national pandemic. No one is “higher” than you and in charge of important decisions you ultimately have to make for your small business. Want to know who is doing a phenomenal job of rocking the title of small business owner? Renee of Four30 Scones is. Not only did her brick and mortar open up recently, she’s giving back today! 2 free scones + a free drink + paying it forward to another small business. What is not to love? 💕 Thank you to Renee and her Four30 scone family for your abundance of love shown today!! You and your business are amazing!
My pay it forward was to gift her and her employees my “You are amazing” sticker to not only share in supporting their business, but to speak truth during this uncertain time. They are amazing! They are making people smile, appreciate others, and ultimately feel loved. That’s a business I know I want to support! 💕
Go out and support your favorite small, local businesses today! A person/family does a happy dance when you order their food, product, or service.

This Saturday I am hosting my first “pop up shop” or on-demand lettering at coffee! Events like these make me so excited, but yet so nervous! As an enneagram type 1 (where are my other type 1s at?? 🙋🏻♀️) theres a lot happening in this brain leading up to the event! Anyway, I’m so thankful for the owner of , Sara, for allowing this to happen. I’ll be creating custom name decals and selling my stickers! Will I see you there?! 💕

I can hardly believe it. Two years of Blessed Carta. These past two years have been so incredible. I’ve grown, I’ve learned, I’ve been stretched, I’ve spent a lot of time and energy, I’ve made mistakes, I’ve made huge changes, but through it all I’ve made a dream become a reality. I couldn’t have done it without my friends, family, supporters, other small business owners, and many more. Thank you. I’m beyond blessed. xoxo, Brittany 💕

If you’re local to Central Illinois, I highly recommend going to The Spot! It is one of my favorite, local coffee shops, as well as, a woman-owned small business! Not only are the drinks delicious, they offer you to purchase from other local businesses inside! You can purchase yummy food from Donut Love and Four30 Scones and gifts for yourself or others from Hello Headband, Art by Jaci Musec, Lettering Works, and from us, Blessed Carta! They have the best customer service around. You truly won’t be disappointed after visiting The Spot!
Speaking of, I’m offering “on-demand” lettering on February 29th at The Spot from 1-3pm! I’ll be there creating hand lettered vinyl decals for you to customize anything your heart desires! I hope to see you there! Check out the event here: Lettering on the Spot!

Handwriting has always been a passion of Blessed Carta’s founder Brittany Bryant. She has always wanted to ‘perfect’ her handwriting and enjoys a great script font. Fast forward to 2016 when Brittany was in a wedding for her best friend, Morgan. She started making signs, addressing her save the dates and bridal shower envelopes, and just contributing anywhere where lettering could be involved. Afterwards, Brittany started offering her services to friends and family to address envelopes, create seating charts and wedding signs, place cards, party signs, favor tags, etc. After many friends instructing her to start a business and offer her handwriting services, Blessed Carta was born.
Picking a name for the company was the hardest part. She wanted something that was recognizable but meant to tell a story. Carta is the Italian word for paper. Although Brittany works on other materials such as chalkboard, wood, leaves, etc., paper is the most common good used. The word blessed is exactly what it means - blessed. Brittany believes that God blesses all talents and she never would have taken this step of faith to offer her hand lettering services if it was not for being blessed by Him.
Thank you for taking the time to check out Blessed Carta. Brittany is always up for a challenge and learning new tricks, so feel free to contact her on Facebook, Instagram (@blessedcarta), and at [email protected] for any custom ideas and designs.
