Friends, we’re kicking off 2025 with a renewed commitment to traditional craft and the human touch. In a world buzzing with stories about artificial intelligence creating fantastical, almost-too-real images, we’re inspired to lean the other way—embracing an analog approach that celebrates authenticity.
Our Affordable Art series of photographic prints is crafted using vintage mechanical cameras—built for film, not batteries. Film photography creates something tangible: a true, unfiltered record of the moment the shutter clicks. And honestly, we think you’d love trying it too!
This year, we’re excited to explore the natural and built environments of our beautiful city, camera in hand, and we’d love for you to join us on this journey.
Now, about this image. You’ll likely recognize the iconic Philadelphia skyline and the famous Rocky statue. But wait—that’s not the statue you’re thinking of. The original still stands proudly at the base of the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps. For Philadelphia’s Rocky Week celebration, Sylvester Stallone generously loaned his personal copy of the statue to temporarily sit atop the legendary “Rocky Steps” for fans to enjoy. While that statue has since been returned, we captured it on film—the same way the early Rocky movies were made.
Oh, and speaking of statues—did you know there’s a third one? And if you happen to have a spare million-and-a-half dollars, the sculptor might just let you take it home.
In the meantime, our photographic prints are far more budget-friendly—and they’re waiting for you. Take a piece of Philadelphia home with you today!
