This is our tribute. A Blackstar against a field of binary code, a nod to his final era and his lifelong fascination with technology and identity. Hand screen-printed in Philadelphia. Ink pushed through mesh, an analog process carrying a digital design.

Yesterday was David Bowie’s birthday, and as Philly Loves Bowie Week comes to a close, I wanted to share a work in progress.

This shirt has been developing slowly — through printing tests, revisions, and a lot of care — and it’s almost ready.
