We are so honored , one of the greatest African American Actors of all time, Philadelphia native, icon, and rapper’s first stop on his Memoir tour is at the Met in Philly Monday November 8, 2021. Tickets to his event are available here.

The West Philly “born and raised” actor has made a stellar career choosing roles that amplify the nuanced stories, historical figures, and life of the Black world. From his blockbuster roles in Men In Black, Hitch, I Am Legend, & Bad Boys, to depicting historical figures such as Nelson Mandela and Mohammed Ali. This event is similar to the format of Oprah and friends tour where she invites notable peers to have an intimate conversation on life. To put icing on the cake, the “friend” he is choosing to launch the tour is fellow icon Queen Latifah and each ticket comes with a copy of his book through a partnership with Black-owned Philly bookstores and

Can’t wait to see y’all there supporting one of Philly’s favored sons for a night of positivity and community uplift!

Reginald F. Lewis was a business pioneer, philanthropist and titan. He was born 12, 7, 1972 in Baltimore. He was raised by his Mom, a hard working light skin woman who instilled in him that he could be whatever he dreamed of. His grandpa, a fellow lightskin man, worked at wealthy social clubs in segregated Baltimore and exposed his grandson to the luxury lifestyle from a young age.

He went to Virginia Tech on a Football scholarship and was the first person to be admitted into Harvard Law School without applying. He was a proud

Lewis rose to prominence as a corporate and civil rights lawyer, financier, and leader of the global food company TLC Beatrice International. Lewis was the first African American ever to close an overseas billion dollar leveraged buyout deal. He acquired an unprecedented global conglomerate of 64 companies in 31 countries, and paved the way for future entrepreneurs and black leaders through his life’s work until his untimely death at age 50.

His book "Why Should White Guys Have All Fun" should be required reading to all Black and Latinx kids around the world to be exposed to the heights ambition can take you.

*Who We Are*

Blessed Divine,

I/we are sending restorative and positive vibes to everyone.

I’m Janet Luz Sackey, a proud Dominican-Ghanaian New Yorker, founder and creative director of #CulturedKinfolk. This project is a mirror offering to all of the teachers, guides, experiences, strangers, lessons, and soul tribe I have attracted over the past five years.

The Why behind Cultured Kinfolk was a calling to create an online or physical place that affirmed and curated global contributions made by kinfolk. Kinfolk who love going to museums, concerts, twerking, traveling, creating businesses, and are lifelong learners.
