Please pet parents make sure, your pets don't get out if there's even 1% chance that they can get out of your yard, then do not leave them unattended, make pretend they are a two-year-old. You would never leave a two-year-old unattended, every day there are are tons of dogs and cats that get out
It is your responsibility to make sure that they don't. Is it better to be overprotective, then to think that they would never get out. I get hundreds of notifications daily, and it's heartbreaking to hear that another pet has gotten out or gone missing from their home in this horrible heat.
