Back to basics with a very simple outfit of the day ✌🏼 ft. tired eyes and more layers than I’d ideally like to be wearing at this time of year 😅

Thanks so much to everyone that replied to my stories last night 🫶🏼 I think it’s safe to say there’s quite a few of us who identify as over-thinkers! If I’m honest, I never know how much to share on here, but I also think that if it helps at least one person feel a little less alone it’s so worth it! 🤍

I realise this series has been v heavy on the leggings so far but, let’s be honest, if there was ever a month for ✨comfort✨ it’s January!

Are your kids back to school yet? We were supposed to be back to ‘normal’ today but an unexpected snow day pushed it back. I’m not going to lie, I’m ready for a bit more routine now!

If you’ve followed me for a while you’ll know I’m all about easy outfits that make me feel good BUT are also realistic as a busy mum with three kids and waaaaay too many plates to juggle 😅

That’s why I’m the biggest fan of a co-ord 🙌🏼 from work, to catchups over coffee, to the (incredibly rare 😅) mums night out. Knowing that I’ve got a set (or two!) in my wardrobe that’ll see me through every eventuality definitely makes life that little bit easier.

I’m wearing the new burgundy shade in ’s Polly, Lexi, Cara and the cult classic Mabel 🙌🏼🍇 I’d usually wear a size UK8/10 and wear a size XS small in all of these.

For full transparency 2024 has actually been incredibly s**t 🙈 BUT look at all these moments of magic that happened in between! ✨

This was my first year creating a vision board and it was actually so insane to look back and see how everything came full circle. I’ll definitely be making one for the new year, even if it’s just for a reminder to look for the joy in every day.

Base layer of thermals was definitely needed today! Even though the kids spent about 10 minutes outside before they decided it was too cold and they wanted hot chocolates in front of the fire instead 😅

If I’ve learnt anything in my 30’s so far it’s that life moves in seasons. Some seasons feel overwhelming, but that doesn’t mean they’re wasted. This is your reminder that it’s okay to take it one step at a time and just be in the moment.

Give yourself grace, show up for yourself in whatever way you can, and remember the next season is always just around the corner ❤️
