Five return touchdowns. A 108-yard answer to a missed field goal. The only opening kickoff return for a touchdown in Super Bowl history. By his rookie season’s end, not touching the ball to him had become a legitimate game plan.

In 2001, Cincinnati drafted a receiver out of Oregon State who was about to make the league very uncomfortable for the next decade. This is where 85 started.

The name changed. The number never had to. New Chad Johnson ’01 Throwbacks just dropped.
