Our mission is to empower women who have experienced trauma, violence, abuse, and human trafficking through our transitional housing program, providing essential resources, wrap around services, and support for self-sufficiency.
60% of American adults have experienced at least one form of trauma in various scale and context. 2/3 of children suffer some form of childhood trauma by the age of 16. When this trauma is not addressed it impacts mental, physical, and emotional health. This disrupts everyday skills, problem solving, managing priorities, relationship building and healthy coping. The effects have lasting, layered impact on the body, brain and behavior that is multi-layered and multi-faceted leading to multi-generational cycle.
