Jenn's Jems is a mother-daughter duo that consists of myself, Debbie and my daughter Jenn. Jenn has been making jewelry and other fun accessories since childhood, and around the age of 14, we decided to turn her hobby into a business, creating Jenn's Jems. When she was 18, and about to start college, Jenn taught me all about jewelry making so we could continue our line while she was in school. We
have been in business for over 10 years, and have expanded our line to include not only jewelry, but stylish sewn tote bags, hand knit and crocheted items (a skill my mother taught me) such as market bags, head bands, hats, scarves, and more! A very exciting day for Jenn's Jenns was Labor Day weekend, 2010 when we opened a mini store inside the Pittsburgh Public Market. I can't believe how lucky I am. I love the Market and what I do. The Market is only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so I spend the week creating and the weekends at the Market. Jenn is living in New York City where she continues to make jewelry and her latest addition to the line, hair accessories. We do custom orders for any occasion, proms, christenings, weddings, bat mitzvahs, or just a special one-a-kind-piece. In addition, we would love to take your old or broken jewelry, and breathe new life into it by making something new!
