Since I can't get around much, I'm doing what I can.

One of my sisters got this diamond painting for her self, and got just over half done before realizing she does not long doing diamond paintings. So she asked if I could finish it for her.

About 8 hrs of work I finally finished it.

Do you have any that you would love to have finished or done but don't like diamond paintings or the time to do them? I would be happy to do them for you!

I'm all wrapped up again, and not in the way anyone wants lol

As you all know I had surgery January of 2025 for my right ankle. They had to repair and reconnect the ligaments and the tendon that disconnected from my heel bone to the ankle bone. That all heel nicely, unfortunately I was still having pain.

So the past couoke months I had to get another MRI and decide what was going on. Come to find out its was the main nerve that runs right under the scar from the first surgery. Well I had 3 options to choose from, a injection steroid every few months into the nerve, or 2 types of surgeries. Only being they clear up the nerve and hope if works, or the 2nd adding in a electro rod next to the nerve to stimulate the nerve.

I opted into the first type of surgery. It was supposed to a small incision, but unfortunately instead they had to make one about the size of the previous incision. The nerve was being stretched over the top of the anchor that was put in to secure the tendon. So they dissected the nerve, removed the anchor and a suture knot and lined the nerve with a graft.

So 2 weeks of no bearing weight and a walker before I get my boot.

I you would to have something ordered that isn't resin and that I am able to sit here with my foot elevated let me know!

I will be getting the MRI for my shoulder as well. So thats another issue to deal with the summer :/

Would you put a custom license plate on your car?

We needed to get a second vehicle for my husband to start work after he graduated last month. So the SUV is now my main vehicle and I wanted a front license plate, but didn't like any I could find.
I decided to get a blank plate and acrylic paint to make my own.

I used my alcohol inks for the sunrise, and painted layer by layer of the rest of it. I added the lettering with permanent vinyl, and bit of glitter to top of the snow peaks to glisten in the sunlight.

The mountains where I grew up. The Spanish peaks are located in Southern Colorado, their native name is the Huajatuolla (wah-hah-TOY-ah) Mountains, meaning The Double Mountains. We always just called them the Twin Peaks though.

I boarded it in black, white, red, orange, and yellow, topped with turquoise triangles. Along with a white arrow with feathers. My great-grandmother was Choctaw, and I wanted to tie into the Choctaw colors.

Lastly I painted on the Colorado Columbine to tie it all together.

I also added the reference photo I created to follow along while I painted it.
