Before the ink, the raven.

This is the Morrigan mid-making, still in Procreate: a dark feathered familiar with a single bright eye, the first thing to wake on the canvas. Every piece begins like this, as rough shapes and color tests, long before it becomes a blanket, a pillow, or a wall print.

The Morrigan is a goddess of war, fate, and omen, and the raven is her oldest messenger. Drawing her is slow work, and I would not rush it.
