Puvithel has been making and designing original handmade jewelry and accessories, clothing and handbags for J-fashion and alternative styles since early 2015. Her motifs include detail work, over-the-top gothic designs, and vector and laser cut work with a focus on American Gothic, punk, menhera, and lolita fashions.

All jokes aside, yes I’m going on hiatus.
There are many factors, but primarily I am not able to put in the time and effort the shop needs.

I’m constantly reworking Puvithel trying to keep up with industry changes. All I'm doing is taxes and productma###xing trying to keep Puvithel from completely going under. Costs are soaring.
Opportunities have dried up, or are uninterested in me, and I screwed up some of the few opportunities I had trying to balance my health physics career, kids, and the shop. There are art-related interpersonal heartbreaks that I’m still burdened by. I have a day job I like that pays well, and I feel guilty when I see my more talented full time artist friends struggling to live. We have literal concentration camps filled with kids like mine and I am trying to sell necklaces??

I need to stop. I need to remember the simple joy of creation.

I will use this time to improve my technical skill and rediscover my artistic 'voice'. Hopefully in a few years I'll come back better than before for Puvithel Season 2.

I will still vend at conventions here and there, and may do online pop-ups as I can. I will also complete all outstanding projects, like Patreon rewards and the menhera zine.

I will be posting more details on my blog later.
