People always tell me, “You must have the most glamorous life. You get to dress up in incredible outfits every day and play at the Renaissance Faire.”
My immediate response? I laugh.
Because while those magical fair days are very real, they’re only a tiny part of what my life actually looks like.
I’m not just the artist. I’m also the business owner, photographer, social media manager, customer service department, driver, designer, problem solver, and the one doing all the heavy lifting behind the scenes. I work the front end and the back end of this business, and most days I’m working from the moment I wake up until I finally crawl into bed.
Truthfully, I’m lucky if I even have a bra on while filming this. 😂 Most days you’ll find me in pajamas, sweats, a hoodie, fuzzy socks, with my hair doing whatever it wants. I’m basically a walking hot mess 24/7… and honestly, I’m okay with that.
Lately I’ve been wanting to share more of the real side of this journey. More videos where I actually talk to you, more DIYs, more behind-the-scenes looks at what it really takes to build a business in this industry—the messy, exhausting, magical parts that no one usually sees.
The funny thing is… I’m actually a huge introvert. I know, it’s hard to believe if you’ve met me at faire. I can put on a smile and chat with people all day there, but outside of that I’m incredibly shy, quiet, and much happier blending into the background than being in front of a camera.
But growth happens outside of our comfort zones.
So I’m going to push myself. I want to let you see more of the person behind the crowns, the sparkle, and the booth. I hope you’ll come along for the journey. ❤️
