Today, One To Save Many made the long trip to Watkins Glen, New York, to spend the day at Farm Sanctuary, meet with co-founder Gene Baur, and personally deliver a donation in support of their work.
Gene and Farm Sanctuary have been advocating for farmed animals for nearly four decades, long before these conversations reached the mainstream. It was pretty special to spend a little time with him and see the sanctuary firsthand.
There is something incredibly moving about standing in a place that began as an idea nearly forty years ago and looking into the eyes of animals who are alive, safe, and loved because someone believed their lives mattered.
And then realizing how many lives that one idea has touched since.
Animals saved. People changed. Seeds planted in people who went on to plant seeds in others.
It’s hard to stand there and not feel something.
One To Save Many is only at the beginning of our story. We don’t know how far it will reach or what it might become. We just know why we started.
Because their lives matter.
And if one person can inspire another person to care, to change, or to act, there is no telling how many lives can ultimately be saved.
That’s the idea behind our name... One To Save Many. 🌱💚
