A little of this and a little of that is what you’ll find at Pedal Pushers Vintage Shop in Polk City, Iowa. There is something for everyone! I’ll be open today for Farmer’s Market 4-7. Open Friday, July 17th from 10-3 and Saturday, July 18th from 10-4. After this weekend I’ll be closed until August 7th. Stop by for a lemonade! Dollhouses provide special memories for me. My dad made one for my sister which I played with too. Dad also made one for my daughter when she was three. After storing it for several years, I added a shaker roof and redecorated it for her daughter and little sister. This 1960’s dollhouse pictured was purchased for my granddaughters to play with at Grandmas house. They’ve spent many hours with it. Now it’s time to let it go to someone else. It has some original furniture and added pieces. I hope someone will love it. Pedal Pushers vintage shop will be open tonight for Farmer’s Market from 4-7. Pedal Pushers Vintage Shop will be closed Friday the 26th but open Saturday, June 27th from 10-4. The Four Seasons Festival is Saturday so there will be lots of traffic in town and a parade at 10. Located at 113 West Broadway St. in Polk City, IA. At the back of the building. A young North Polk shopper found a vintage satin Comets jacket here tonight and it is a perfect fit. Pedal Pushers will be closed Friday, June 5th but open Saturday the 6th from 10-4. Just in time for celebrating the USA’s 250th Birthday, these Liberty Blue dishes would add a touch of historical connection to our past. The designs are printed on Staffordshire Ironstone from England. The dinner plates feature Independence Hall, cups Paul Revere, sauce dishes are Betsy Ross and the salad plates feature Monticello. It’s not a complete set however you can buy the set as is or I will sell the dishes separately. You can text or call if you want some set aside. Stop by. Pedal Pushers Vintage Shop is open today, May 29th from 10-3. I will be closed tomorrow, May 30th. I’m hoping next weekend I’ll be back to a regular schedule, including Farmer’s Market. I’ve decided to be open most Thursdays for that, 4-7. It’s too hard to haul stuff to the park but you can walk down the hill by the bank and visit. Also open by appt.- call Martha at 515-720-4117.
