🌿 A LITTLE MARKET UPDATE FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS 🌿

Our hearts REALLY want to be at the market tomorrow. 💔 We miss seeing all of your smiling faces, catching up with our market family, and watching you all find your favorite Harper Family Farms goodies.

Unfortunately, Momma Jenn is still dealing with quite a few health issues, and the summer heat has been making things especially hard on her. As much as we hate missing our Saturdays with you, right now we have to listen to what her body is telling us. ❤️‍🩹

So, we won’t be at the market tomorrow.

But don’t worry — Harper Family Farms is still open for orders! 🥰 If you need your favorite body butter, beard butter, oils, soaps, laundry goodies, or anything else from our little farm family, just send us a message and we’ll get your order together!

We genuinely, truly MISS YOU ALL more than you know. 🥹❤️ This market family has become such a special part of our lives, and we are so thankful for every person who stops by our booth, supports our small business, checks on Momma Jenn, sends prayers, or simply reminds us that you’re still out there waiting for us.

We’re hoping to make our way back to the market when things cool down a bit. Because apparently Momma Jenn was not designed to operate in temperatures hotter than Satan’s front porch. 😂☀️🔥

💚 Momma Jenn is staying home today (she’s having a really rough morning). She will be seeing her surgeon soon, so there is more light at the end of the tunnel, we just have to get through the here and now!

Big daddy is going through medical storms of his own. The Harper Family is definitely fighting Satan in this season, spiritual attacks for sure! We appreciate every prayer, good vibe or anything positive you can send our way! Also if there’s voodoo dolls of us somewhere, we tap 🫩🤣

🌻 Harper Family Farms Update 🌻

Hello to our amazing customers, friends, and Harper Family Farms family.

We wanted to give everyone a little update on Momma Jenn. She has been admitted to the hospital again, and tomorrow morning the doctors will be attempting to complete a gastric emptying study. We’re praying this test finally provides some answers and helps guide the next steps in treating her recently diagnosed paralyzed stomach.

If you’ve ever met Momma Jenn, you know she’s usually the first one cracking jokes, giving everyone a hard time, and keeping us all on our toes. Well… she’s not nearly as sassy as she normally is these days. Truth be told, she’s feeling pretty puny, and that’s saying something.

This journey has taken a lot out of our family, but your prayers, kind words, and support have carried us through more than you know. We ask that you continue to keep Momma Jenn, Big Daddy, and our entire Harper Family Farms crew in your prayers as we navigate whatever comes next.

We’ll keep everyone updated as we learn more.

💚 An Update from Harper Family Farms 💚

To our amazing market family and all of our wonderful customers…

With heavy hearts, we wanted to let everyone know that we will not be at the Farmers Market this weekend.

The last few weeks have been overwhelming for our family. Finding out that Momma Jenn’s stomach is paralyzed has been a huge shock, and the lack of nutrition has left her incredibly weak and completely exhausted.

Truth be told… it’s not just Momma who’s running on empty. Everyone here at Harper Family Farms is.

Between taking care of the farm, keeping up with the house, endless doctor appointments, countless phone calls with specialists, and trying to figure out what our new “normal” looks like, we realized we need to do something we don’t do very often…

We need to take a day to simply breathe.

We hate missing the market because we genuinely love seeing all of you each week. Your smiles, hugs, stories, and support mean more than you’ll ever know. But right now, our family needs a little time to rest, regroup, and focus on Momma’s health.

We ask for one thing from our Harper Family Farms family…

❤️ Please say a prayer for us.

Pray for strength, answers, healing, peace, and for the road ahead. We truly believe in the power of prayer, and we appreciate every single one of you who has checked on us, encouraged us, and lifted us up.

Thank you for understanding, for supporting our little family business, and for always standing beside us through the highs and the lows.

🚨🚨 Y’ALLLLLL… IT’S HAPPENING!!! 🚨🚨

The beignets are rising, the cinnamon rolls are proofing, and this house smells so heavenly we may never leave! 🤤😂 If smell-o-vision was a thing, you’d all already be standing in line!

Tomorrow we’re bringing all the goodies, including:

Come early because once they’re gone… they’re gone! We have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a good one!

💜 Now for a personal update…

Many of you have been asking where Momma has been. Unfortunately, she’ll be staying home again tomorrow.

After months of doctors, tests, hospital visits, and a whole lot of prayers, we’ve learned that Momma is suffering from gastroparesis (a paralyzed stomach). Right now we’re simply waiting on the call from Washington University so they can schedule surgery to implant a stomach pacemaker that will hopefully give her some quality of life back.

If you’ve ever met Momma, you know sitting still isn’t exactly her thing. She’s the one who loves visiting with everyone, giving hugs, and making sure nobody leaves hungry. Being stuck at home has been incredibly hard on her.

So we’re asking for something that doesn’t cost a dime…

🙏 Please pray.

Pray for healing.
Pray for strength.
Pray for peace.
Pray for wisdom for the doctors.
And pray that this surgery opens the door to better days ahead.

So many of you have reached out asking how you can help. We honestly don’t know how to thank you enough.

Well… y’all, the boss man is officially on doctor’s orders today! 💙 The Big Guy is staying home to rest while Momma Jenn rounds up the kiddos, loads the truck, and heads to market to hold down the fort. 💪🤣

Now don’t go feeling too sorry for him… he’ll probably be enjoying the peace and quiet while we’re over here chasing customers, wrangling kids, answering “What scent is that?!” for the 47th time, and trying not to eat all the cinnamon rolls ourselves. 😂
