I finally bought a vintage sewing machine! Found this beautiful Singer 66 Red Eye at a thrift store. The decals have a little silver popping through and some of the plates have small amounts of rust but for the most part she looks pretty good. Hoping to refurbish her to maybe use but that will depend. such a great find.

Working on a new Etsy order today. It’s a lovely front and back lacing 18th century style corset in white. Corsets can be a challenge but they are worth it to achieve that perfect 18th century silhouette. Fabric pieces are cut and marked. All front and lining pieces are stitched for each half of the corset. Good progress for today!

I love drafting my own patterns and now printing is going to be a breeze at the corner. No more tiled pages tapped together! She is used but all she needs is a little dusting and a belt change. This printer is going to be one of my favorite pieces of equipment. Second to my sewing machine of course. Can’t wait to print my first pattern!

Quarantine has been a very interesting time in my sewing corner. With filing good amount of Etsy orders and trying to finish my website I haven’t been very active on social media. The last few weeks I decided to take a break from “the work” and do something fun. This is a 9 patch swap quilt made with some scrappy squares that I found at a Lancaster Thrift Store. This quilt is colored with mostly blues & cream and sprinkled with green & mauve. She is sandwiched, basted, and ready for quilting. Can’t wait for this lovely quilt to be finished!
