Yesterday I asked y'all if I should write down my recipes for my kids to have one day. ❤️

Well, it reminded me of something someone sent me a while back! They had an old handwritten recipe they wanted me to clean up so they could preserve it for years to come!

Did you know you can take those precious handwritten recipes and have them put on aprons, cutting boards, towels and so much more?!

I absolutely LOVE preserving little pieces of the past! Especially things that have sentimental value! ❤️

I used to be the girl who only carried cute, smaller purses! 😂 I tried my best not to overpack, because who wants to lug around a bunch of stuff?!

Well, the older I've gotten, and with some health issues thrown into the mix, things have changed a little! 😆

Now I find myself looking for bags that are bigger, comfortable to carry, and have LOTS of pockets! Sometimes that means carrying a mini backpack like this one! It might not be my cute little purse, but it gets the job done!

With having POTS and loving to travel and explore, I've learned that having the right bag makes a big difference! I need room for all my little necessities, especially when we're spending the day outdoors.

We've got a bigger trip planned for next summer, and y'all know I'm already thinking ahead! 😂

**So help a girl out! What's your favorite bag for hiking, exploring, or spending all day out in the sun?** Do you prefer a backpack, crossbody, or something else?

Bonus points if it's cute AND practical! Because I still like my cute stuff! 🤣❤️

Or maybe you travel in a camper and miss having a bathtub?!

Now imagine setting up a portable bathtub, adding some bubbles, a good book, a little chocolate, and making yourself a romantic little getaway! 😍

Y'all, I remember wishing something like this existed! **WELL, THEY DO!!** 😂

We're thinking about planning a trip to the Chattanooga area, and I have questions!

Is there plenty to do and see? What are the must-see places? Any hidden gems?

And here's my BIG question... **What's the weather like at the beginning of December?** ❄️

We were in a pretty bad wreck while traveling in winter weather years ago, so I'm a little nervous about driving through mountains if there's a chance of snow or ice.

Yes, I know I can Google all of this! 😂 But I'd much rather hear from people who have actually been there or live in the area!

So tell me the good, the bad, and anything else we need to know! ❤️

Let me start out by saying... I didn't finish the hike. But I did start it, and I had every intention of completing it!

My good knee has been hurting since it slipped out of place a week ago, and my bad knee still has a partially torn ACL. Add POTS to that, and well, you can see how hiking can literally be a pain! 😂

I made it about 20 minutes into the hike when we met a group who told us the trail was difficult in places, with lots of ups and downs! I took that as my sign to head back, sit at the picnic table, and enjoy the scenery! The rest of my group continued on, and let me know I made a good decision!

But you know what? I didn't feel defeated! Because I actually tried, and what I did get to see was beautiful!

I can't wait until I'm able to hike and enjoy long walks again! ❤️
