Has been way too long since my last post. Finished first week of work in Delaware (side note 36th state worked). Tried a few delicious brews from the good people . Finally made my way back to Pennsylvania. Haven’t been here since I was 20 (family is from here). Since I was near Pottsville and it’s the weekend, that meant it was time for . I took a tour and tasting . I have always been a fan of their beer. Now I learned alittle more history of Americas oldest brewery. Did you know that they made ice cream at one point? I did not. I also learned that porter was considered medicinal during prohibition. Who knew?. Thank you to the amazing tour guide at staff at Yuengling. Cheers to them and all of you out there. Hope you all find some fun and knowledge while having adventures of your own.

Traveling for work with the guys. A good beer here , a good whiskey there. Throw in some chimichurri steak, sautéed asparagus and a twice baked potato. Well that’s for sure. Shout out to for the always amazing Batsquatch. Also finally popped the top on my first bottle of . I love living near Leeds and was blown away with how velvety and smooth this whiskey was. Cheers to you and them.

Opened up one of my Christmas gifts for New Year’s Eve. Many thanks to my amazing wife for one of the best tasting bourbon whiskeys to date. I know people use smooth a lot to describe whiskey but smooth doesn’t even come close to how great single rack black 15 year is. Like the classic Chevelle painting we got her , this whiskey stands the test and taste of time. Cheers to you and them.

Had such a blast yesterday . Took part in some very informative seminars learning about brands I was not familiar with, as well as blending and distilling methods. So many people to thank for the experience of my first bourbon festival.

I want to thank everyone who voted for me over the last two months. I ended up finishing second in my group and missed the cuts for the quarter finals. But no need to frown. This was a great experience and I am happy with how I did. I was able to step out if my norm and do something unique. Thank you again everyone. Cheers to you. Keep following for more adventures.

Hanging out with the good people of . Has been almost 2 years since I’ve been here. They always have great craft selections to choose from. Met who was bartending. If you are in the area around Nov 10th ( cough cough my bday) come see zack and friends and help give back to vets like him and many others. Well I am still in it. I didn’t finish 1st in the group, however, I still have a shot to get into the quarter finals. Since I finished second yesterday I get to compete in a shorter wildcard round that ends Sunday night. This one is first place or bust. Huge thank you to everyone that has voted for me and kept up with me during this competition, I feel the love. Let’s see if we have what it takes to make it to the next round. Link in bio on Insta.
