Separation anxiety, or what we like to call separation awareness, is such a normal part of growing. Your little one is learning that you can leave and that you always come back.

And while knowing that doesn’t necessarily make the tears easier, having a simple, consistent approach can help both of you feel a little more confident.

In our Separation Anxiety 101 blog, we’re talking through what this stage can look like, how to make goodbyes feel more predictable and why those everyday routines matter so much.

Because sometimes the best thing we can give our little ones is the confidence to know: You’re safe. You’re loved. And I’ll be back.

Read the full blog for our tips on navigating separation with confidence and consistency.

Toddler sleep regression can make bedtime a battle. One mom shares the controversial strategy that helped her 2½-year-old stay in bed and sleep through the night.

A mom was skeptical of this controversial toddler sleep advice. Six months later, her daughter sleeps through the night and stays in her room until morning.

The 12-week sleep shift is real, here's how to navigate it.

Around 8–16 weeks, a lot happens at once: babies are ready to move on from the swaddle, they're discovering purposeful movement, and nighttime sleep starts stretching longer. It's exciting, but it can also feel like the ground is shifting under your feet.

Our advice? Don't overhaul everything overnight. Build in small 15-minute grace periods to gradually push naps and feeds later. Keep bedtime steady between 7:30–8:00 PM, and start the day with purpose around 6:45–7:00 AM regardless of how the night went. And if your baby isn't rolling yet, it's okay to keep the swaddle a little longer at for naps while you transition.

Naps during this window often settle into a pattern of one great nap, one "just okay" nap, and a couple of shorter catnaps, completely normal for this stage.

This season is a lot, but you don't have to figure it out alone. 💛 Read our full guide to the 8–16 week routine on the blog.

Let Moms on Call guide you through this exciting time with helpful tips and adjustments to make the transition smoother for both you and your little one.

Summer road trips with little ones don’t have to be perfect to be memorable. 💛

A little planning goes a long way, pack the snacks, bring a few new surprises, make time for a park stop, and don’t stress if naps or schedules aren’t exactly the same as they are at home.

The best part? Vacation is meant to be enjoyed. And when you get home, your routine will be waiting for you. ✨
