My perfect weekend involves curling up with a book. One up that by making it a good audiobook while I make all the pretty things. 🥰

It’s been a while since I put together a leather pair of earrings. But I realized that I (personally) needed more. 😜 so now, I’ll also have a more stocked booth at my next market.

🍉 Watermelon Lemonade 🍋 is a new shop fave! We tested her out at market and she was one of the top eyebrow-arching scents that people sniffed (in an ooooo kinda way ☺️).

☀️ SUMMER FRESHIE CARE ☀️

The HOT days are here, so please be mindful of your freshie care! While freshies are designed to handle normal vehicle use, extreme heat can affect them just like it affects crayons, candles and other scented products.

A few tips to help your freshie last longer:

🌴 Avoid direct sunlight whenever possible. I always use a windshield shade when I park. My freshies (and my thighs) appreciate it.

🚫 Never place your freshie on a flat surface such as your dashboard, center console or cup holder.

🚗 Hang only! Freshies are designed to hang freely from a rearview mirror, hook or other hanging location.

🔥 Avoid heat traps. Areas that receive concentrated sunlight or get extremely hot can increase the risk of softening or melting.

🚪 If you’re parking for an extended period during a heat wave, consider moving your freshie to a cooler location or bringing it inside.

From today’s event, I heard: more freshies, more bookmarks and more wooden earrings! I was so happy to see my art (and sass) connect with so many beautiful people who walked away with my hand-crafted work.

I hope you think of Lea Oak when that blast of fresh air hits you when you open your car door, or when you put on your earrings, or when you find that page in your book. Thank you for the love you showed my daughters and me today!

For now, this mama is gonna curl up into a ball and sleep for three days straight because I ain’t no spring chicken no more 😴
