September is a lovely time to visit New York City. Not too hot and not too cold. The perfect time of the year to grab every outside table you can!

Hanging onto summer and seeing where the wind takes us 🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️

Tonight we were on our way to the boat for an evening swim and I proposed ice cream for dinner and that we’d grab a more proper meal later tonight. M & D were all in.

A stop at Granny Joe’s in Vermilion is a family tradition.

As we continued west, somehow the Lorain County Fair came into the conversation and the next thing you know, we turned the Jeep right around and are now on our way to the Fair!

We may not get that proper meal, but we know we’ll eat good!

Who says summer is over? Definitely not us!

Today I’m sending a friendly reminder to visit the lake. Sit by it and read a book, walk along the beach, get in the water, catch the sunset…

We took our grandkids with us after school yesterday (Dean was our photographer) and we had a blast!

My favorite part was picking up the kids from school, Jeep top down of course, and driving them home only to tell them to peek behind them. To watch their faces light up with excitement when they saw beach towels and toys is truly what I live for. 💕 All they needed to do was drop their backpacks and grab their suits!

Even though I’ve been in business for almost 10 years, seeing a Coastal Cleveland hat in the wild always makes my heart so happy! I see you at the coffee shop, I see you at the grocery store or walking down Lake road, I see you walk past me on the airplane or in front of me at the post office.

I smile every single time 💕

Hats are arriving here daily. I have tons of them in tons of colors. Be sure to keep an eye on the website each day this weekend. They will all be listed by Sunday night.

Last day in Louisville…

☀️FABULOUS start to our day at Haymarket (I would eat here again and again) I got the Ham Baguette and the girl sitting next to me got the BLT which smelled SO GOOD!!!

🥃 Went to Angel's Envy for their tour and tasting.

🥃 Tried a Bourbon Slush at taste_fine_wines_and_bourbons

Did some shopping (couldn’t find any great shops in Louisville 😩)

🍣 Grabbed a few lite bites at Yi Sushi Omakase - DELICIOUS and would definitely go back for more!

🐌 Ended our day at Jack Fry's and enjoyed some escargot at the bar and met some new friends! Would definitely return her for more bites too!

I loved this whole weekend get-away so much!

Day 2 in Louisville…

🐎 Take a tour of Churchill Downs

🥃 Order a Mint Julep (him)

🥃 Have Johnny Bourbon as your bartender and have him insist on making you a Bourbon Tea (me) *I told him it was palpable 🤣

🥃 Visit Stitzler Weller to grab Brian’s copper julep cup for being a member of the Blade and Bow Five Keys Club

🥃 Enjoy some sips and bites there at their Garden and Gun Club

🥃 Take a little drive past Muhammad Ali’s childhood home

And then enjoy walking around the city some more!
