Come join us on Saturday, August 8, 2026 and LEARN TO SEW in another SEWING 101 class! This class is for children only and they must be at least 8 years old. You don't need to bring anything. Saturday, August 8 from 10:00 - 12:00 or from 1:00 - 3:00 at the Quincy Town Center (the old bookstore at the mall).

🎪 We Need Your Help — Sewessentials is Headed to the Adams County Fair! 🎪

Sewessentials will be at the Adams County Fair with a booth full of homemade treasures, and we’re asking our amazing community to help make this fundraiser a success!

🧵 Do you have handmade items, crafts, baked goods, or other items you’d like to donate? We would love to have them! Please drop them off at Sewessentials so we can share them at the fair.

💙 Also… if Sewessentials has ever given you or someone you love our time, taught a skill, helped with a project, or brought a little creativity into your life, we’re asking you to pay it forward by volunteering a little time at our booth.

We need friendly faces to help greet visitors, share our mission, and make this event a success!

Help Wanted – Paid Moving Help!

Sewessentials is looking for two strong people to help move a donated piece of equipment from a home in Quincy to Sewessentials at the Quincy Town Center.

This is a paid job. If you have a truck that’s a bonus, but our biggest need is for two people who can safely lift and move the equipment.

If you’re available or know someone who might be interested, please comment below or send me a private message. We’d love to get it moved as soon as possible.

Connie and I had a great time at St Peter’s School today! The kids made belts and hair bows from pre-owned ties and they were darling! The belts were too! lol Thank you Mrs Sowell for inviting us. We hope to see you again, soon!
