Our featured class for November will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 between 1am - 4pm. Ms. Alicia will be teaching us how to make Quilted Bows. I'll attach the link in the comments, but here is a flyer and some sample bows, as well as the detailed information if you're interested in booking.

🧯 Families will have an opportunity to learn valuable fire prevention skills, meet community members and take home important safety equipment while supplies last.

I have notified all of the enrolled participants, and wanted to publicly announce our Barn Quilt Painting class scheduled for this Saturday, October 17, 2026 has been RESCHEDULED FOR Saturday, January 16, 2026 at 9am.

Unfortunately, we were just a couple people short of the minimum attendance for a class session. The good news I’ve found, is DeAnna had a class slot available before next year - SERIOUSLY - she comes with RAVE REVIEWS, and she books easily 6-8 months out, so to get a rescheduled date for just a few months away I never thought would even be a possibility.

The second half that has me excited for the new date is those (and there were easily more than a couple!) who were attending Raeford’s Fall Festival and wanted to come, now don’t have to choose!

I will share more details soon!

Tomorrow, Monday, October 12th, 2026 The Sewing Fix will be CLOSED for Columbus & Indigenous Peoples Day.

This means there will be NO STITCHIN’ SQUAD Homeschool Club on Monday.

The make up day, for those who can attend will be Tuesday, October 13th, regular time from 1pm - 4pm.

We are currently hiring 6 team members:

🍳 2 Grill Operations Team Members
Responsible for working the grill and helping prepare our menu items. Kitchen/grill experience is preferred, but we’re looking for dependable people who are ready to work and learn.

👨‍🍳 2 Back-of-House Kitchen Assistants
You’ll work alongside and assist our cooks with food preparation, kitchen organization, cleaning, and daily kitchen operations.

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! We are willing to train the right people.

🏠 2 Front-of-House Team Members
Responsible for taking care of our customers, taking orders, maintaining the front area, and helping provide a great customer experience.

I’m looking to fill the last couple of spots for The Sewing Fix’s Deanna’s Delightful Barn Quilt Designs Quilt Barn Painting class on next Saturday. Even if you don’t quilt, AND even if you don’t have a barn, there’s some amazing options that you still might like.

If you’re not an artist (🙋🏼‍♀️) the paintings are all graphed out for us, AND there’s literally 79+ options to paint. I’ll attach them as images here. All you have to do is choose the design and pick the colors, which are honestly the hardest parts of the class!

The price includes ALL materials, snacks, beverages, AND LUNCH IS INCLUDED!
