When I’m not trying to be creative on the sewing machine, raise a family and be the best husband and father that I can be, I’m busy working as a nurse. This one means a lot to me. It’s my fourth Daisy Award nomination in the 3 years I have been a nurse and each one seems to further instill that I know I’m doing the right thing with my life and career. I, and I know most of the people that knew the Gerald from 10 years ago and earlier would’ve never thought this is where I would be but I am glad I am.
Maybe one day I’ll actually win the award haha.
