Metal Motivation Daily Screams for Living Aggressively Even when it’s dark, metal is still motivating! In fact, metal is a great way to channel emotions in a healthy way.

Heavy metal is the soundtrack of my life, and in my opinion, no other form of music exemplifies persistence, vision, hard work, and positive thinking like metal. If metal was destructive, I would not have listened to it throughout my life. That’s why I created “Metal Motivation: Daily Screams for Living Aggressively.” What metal did for me, I wanted to do for others, and my mission is to help create an international army of “Metal Motivators” who can flood the world with metal positivity! In other words, Metal Motivation is not about me. It’s about you. I’m only here to help. I’m just a face and voice trying to articulate what people have always done with heavy music—use it to push their lives forward! It’s an honor to have you here as well as have your support. I launched this on Halloween of 2009, and I’m humbled that Metal Motivation has touched thousands of lives. Don’t You Dare Quit

You don’t quit because something is difficult. You quit when the difficulty becomes greater than the value you’ve attached to the outcome.

Think about it.

When something matters enough, you’ll work ridiculous hours, sacrifice comfort, endure setbacks, and push yourself far beyond what you thought possible.

Difficulty isn’t the problem.

Value is.

Once the pain of continuing feels greater than the value of succeeding, quitting starts making sense.

But before you walk away, make damn sure you’ve done the math correctly.

Maybe you’ve forgotten why you started.

Maybe you’ve lost sight of what finishing would mean.

Or maybe the original dream needs to change shape.

You may never become the rock star you imagined at twenty, but that doesn’t mean you put the guitar away forever.

Find another version of the dream that preserves what made you love it.

Then ask yourself:

Which pain would you rather live with—the difficulty of continuing or the regret of quitting something that still mattered?

Sometimes quitting is wisdom.

Sometimes it’s surrender wearing the clothes of wisdom.

Know the difference.

And when you know the thing still matters, the price is worth paying, and the only thing standing between you and the outcome is difficulty…

Don’t you dare quit!
