Life has a way of teaching us through symbols, and one of the most powerful symbols we encounter is the closed door. At first glance, a closed door feels like rejection, like an opportunity lost. But if we look closer, we realize it is not always a barrier sometimes it is a message. A closed door is life whispering: stop looking back, the future is ahead of you.

Too often, we stand in front of doors that will never open again, pouring our energy into the past. But growth does not happen behind us; it happens in the steps we take forward. Every closed door is an invitation to discover new paths, new opportunities, and new strengths.

Think of the times you thought you had failed, only to realize later that the detour led you to something greater. That is the gift of redirection. Closed doors are not endings they are transitions. Was a wonderful event full of Papua New Guinea's creatives showcasing their talents to dress the next Miss Bird of Paradise PNG last Saturday evening at APEC Haus.. I was amazed at the talent, bravery and confidence of the creative dancers, storytellers and fashion of our young people.. We have so much to offer in terms of our talents, arts and designs.. Before you make another move, chase another opportunity, or try to figure everything out on your own, give it to God first. Stop carrying the weight of plans never meant for your shoulders. When you surrender your dreams, decisions, and direction to the Lord, He orders your steps better than you ever could. Proverbs 16:3 says, โ€œCommit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.โ€ God isnโ€™t asking you to have all the answers; Heโ€™s asking you to trust Him with the process. What you place in His hands, He is more than able to bless, direct, and complete. Trust God first, and watch Him do what your own strength never could.
