Daytime disco!! Yes, please!

Sunday, June 7 is our next Daytime Disco and we’ll be celebrating NJ Pride in AP as well, where Daytime Disco was born 2 years ago. Since then, our monthly Sunday afternoon installment has become an institution in itself, welcoming people from all walks of life: all ages, all colors, all orientations, to gather and enjoy beautiful music, beautiful people and beautiful views together as a community. DJ Adam Jay will be our main maestro for the day and will be dropping classic disco, house and 80’s gems for a vinyl soundtrack that will make this a day to remember - and Foggy Notion will be joining to spin a set of his signature dance delights as well before heading to his gig later that night down the boardwalk. This Memorial Day, "we pause to honor all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, their courage, their commitment, and the immeasurable loss felt by those who loved them. When we reflect on the significance of this day, it is imperative that we learn who the fallen were, not just by name but by character and their stories.

Among those we remember are the servicewomen who made the ultimate sacrifice in the conflicts that followed September 11th. Their stories are less often shared, however, deserve to be told and kept alive.
