I am in the land of the noonday sun! πβοΈ
Come visit me at the art market today until 5:00pm at the in Bryson City, NC!
The Nantahala River gets its name from a Cherokee word meaning "Land of the Noonday Sun" because parts of the deep gorge only receive direct sunlight around midday. The water is dam released and a constant 47 degrees and has class II-III rapids, making it one of the most popular whitewater rafting destinations in the Southeast! The AT also runs right through the outdoor center.
I absolutely love coming here every summer to raft and hike, breathe in the smokey mountain air, hang out in Bryson City, and soak up the beauty with my family.
See y'all soon π¦
