Every morning when we would visit, grandpa would stride quickly downstairs to the kitchen. Grandma would fuss because he was “ running on the wood floor in dress socks” .
With purpose, he hiked the waist of his pleated slacks a little higher, tuck his starched white tee into his beltline and fire up the griddle for the BEST breakfast EVER🥞 🍳
