Comfortable and faithful were never the same thing.
Somewhere along the way, a lot of us were taught that peace meant nothing was hard — that if the door kept closing, we must have misread the assignment.
But faithfulness never promised comfort. It promised His presence. And sometimes the very door fear keeps slamming is the one God keeps reopening — not to wear you down, but to remind you He hasn't changed His mind about your purpose.
You were made for more than survival.
More than managing. More than holding it together in rooms that only ever wanted a quieter version of you.
That pull you feel toward more — that's not arrogance.

That's assignment.

So if anyone ever made you believe you were "too much," hear this today: you were never too much. You were under-deployed.

Healing is not pretending the pain never happened.

You were created to heal.
To grow.
To flourish.
To become everything God designed you to be.

**I'll be honest with you.**

There have been seasons where I quoted this verse and didn't fully believe it.

Not because I didn't love God.
But because I was tired.
And faith feels different when you're tired.

I've sat in leadership meetings coaching people through crisis —
while quietly carrying my own.

I've studied human behavior at the doctoral level
and still couldn't explain why I kept doubting myself.

I've stood in ministry and spoken life over other people
and then drove home in silence wondering if God still saw me.

If that sounds familiar —
I need you to know something.

**That is not weak faith.**
**That is real faith being refined.**

Hebrews 11:1 doesn't say faith is easy.
It says faith is *assured.*

Assured means you've decided.
Even when you're shaking.
Even when it's taking longer than you planned.
Even when you're tired of hoping.

You decided. And you're still here.
That counts.
